[Ecohoon] If Everything Runs Normally

I believe the biggest challenge in business is how to combine investment and business objectives to create something meaningful.

For example, in the development of new drugs, government or institutional investment is necessary to proceed. The purpose of new drug development is, of course, to cure patients faster and without suffering. However, not all new drug developments are successful.

In this situation, if failures are repeated, investors will stop investing. The purpose of investors is to recoup their investments. However, if the company fails, it cannot return the investors' investment.

However, if we only consider the business aspects and fail to uphold the fundamental purpose of new drug development, it could lead to social problems and increased costs.

Another point I want to add is that investing in new drug development is a good thing. However, if a company that receives investment engages in corruption and focuses only on personal gain instead of fully investing in development, that is also a problem.

Is it impossible for everything to run smoothly? In this reality where human corruption has reached its peak and everything is solved with money, where money has become the objective, I think it is difficult to expect a properly functioning business process.

Instead of prioritizing the fulfillment of one's desires, focusing on reducing social costs and contributing to society. When that goal is achieved, the greater value and prioritization of costs is the attitude that businesspeople, developers, and investors should adopt, I believe.
