[Ecohoon] Globalization and Localization

I really enjoy globalization. I love learning languages from various countries and utilizing them.

That's the advantage of working for a multinational company; I can work with foreigners of diverse nationalities. Although English is the primary language, they really appreciate it when you speak in your native tongue. I suppose that's why I joined a localization company. And I'm enjoying my work now.

I also enjoy making people laugh. In Korea, I often get told my "dad jokes" (aje gag) are not funny, but foreigners find them really amusing.

In particular, I often use the joke that Park Ji-sung, during his time at Manchester United, played on his close friend Evra, saying, "I am a fool." Many of my foreign friends really enjoyed it. However, some people from certain countries tell me not to tell such jokes, saying I shouldn't belittle myself.

Globalization, localization. It's a truly fascinating field.
