Main Character and Sub-Characters

I have many different personas. As someone who enjoys personal branding, I utilize various social media channels to share my identity and thoughts. I also aimed to leverage social media to build a career, and as that experience progressed, it led to the development of my current diverse range of personas.

1. Main Persona: Alconost Sales Planning Manager
I suppose my main persona is my job, as I spend a significant portion of my time as a working professional. I recently joined Alconost, a localization and translation company, where I am responsible for sales and planning. We are actively launching our business in Korea, and I'm involved in various aspects, including learning about our products and responding to customer inquiries. I just received my business card yesterday, and I'm eager to exchange cards with you all soon! I'd also love to introduce our solutions.

2. Sub-Persona 1: Ecohoon
In the past, I ran a blog called 'Sangsik Football' (상식축구). For 12 years, from 2011 to 2023, I dedicated myself to writing football columns. My initial goal was to become a football commentator. However, I now want to 'contribute' to the world based on my values, so I changed the name of my channel to 'Ecohoon'.

The meaning behind Ecohoon is deeply connected to the concept of a megaphone. Eco represents the resonance of a voice, and I combined it with 'hoon' from my name, Sanghoon, because I want to use the echo of my voice amplified through a megaphone to share my thoughts with many people, motivate them, and make a positive impact. When describing myself using an object, I always use the image of a megaphone. It reflects my core values and vision – the desire to contribute to society and make a positive impact on the communities I'm part of.

3. Sub-Persona 2: Sangsik Football (상식축구)
However, I couldn't completely abandon the identity I've cultivated over the years. Occasionally, I still post football-related content on my blog, expressing my thoughts on the sport. Sangsik Football is a shortened form of 'Sanghoon's Football Stories' (상훈이식 축구 이야기). It embodies my unique perspective on football. Essentially, I aimed to look at football beyond common sense, through the lens of 'Sanghoon's perspective' (상식).

Through Sangsik Football, I gained a wealth of experiences. My blog was featured on the Naver main page, the sports section, various football media outlets, I was a guest writer for several football publications, appeared on SBS Sports broadcasts, participated in podcasts, had the opportunity to meet Son Heung-min, interviewed Heidenheim, a Bundesliga club, met football players, and even attended a SPOTV football commentary interview. These experiences were incredibly valuable and, in some ways, bittersweet and regretful memories.

4. Sub-Persona 3: Sportsman
I'm passionate about a wide range of sports, including football, badminton, golf, basketball, and bowling. At my church, I participate in almost every sport imaginable.

There was a time when I started my day with early morning volunteer work, followed by a football game, then bowling in the afternoon, and finished with basketball in the evening. I'm still capable of such a packed schedule. As someone who loves sports, I'm truly grateful for the opportunities to connect with others and learn through sports.
