It's already July. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to have spent a wonderful time with good people in a great place, marking the end of the first half of the year. This is my reflection on the first half of the year, written after a vacation to a nice place to celebrate my wife's birthday and commemorate the end of the first half of the year.

I joined Alconost in March. Time has flown by so quickly that I haven't even realized how the days have gone by as I've been learning new things, meeting new clients, and promoting the company everywhere I go.
It's hectic and busy, but I'm truly grateful. It's better to be busy discussing customer issues and promoting the company than being sad because there's no work. It's only been three months since we officially started our business in Korea, and many customers have found Alconost and even signed contracts with us. Thank you so much.
Three months feel like a year because I've been so busy. I left my previous company in February, but it feels like I left a year ago. I'm grateful to be so immersed in my work.

Even though it's only been three months, I've been having meaningful meetings and increasing their number. If I were a customer, I would have thought, 'Why do I need to meet with a company for translation? They could just send me a quote.'
However, customers have responded to my meeting proposals and decided to sign contracts through these meetings. One might say, 'What kind of meetings are there for translation?', but I'm breaking those preconceived notions. Even translation services require explanations before customers make decisions, and I hope they understand the value of it.

I've met and gotten to know many people. People say that when you die, you leave behind your name, but I believe that you leave behind your relationships. After all, the people who will be at my funeral are those who had relationships with me. Relationships seem to be a truly important value and a social act.
Thank you for becoming my business partners, for helping me, for giving me advice, for trusting me and signing contracts with me, and simply for being kind to me. I will also strive to become someone who can help you, whether it's business or personal. I hope we can build and maintain good relationships.
#4
I'm trying to create and post content as much and as often as possible. Many people have emphasized 'consistency,' so I'm consistently doing it.
Thankfully, many people have connected with me on LinkedIn and are following my account. I've surpassed 1,400 followers, and I want to thank you all again.
I want to help you all through posts filled with expertise, what's called 'thought leadership,' but it seems challenging. However, through various types of posts, I'll provide help, fun, inspiration, meaning, and trust. Please continue to cheer me on. I'll also cheer you on.

I hope everyone will do their best in the second half of 2024, starting today. Just like flowers bloom even during wartime, I hope our flowers bloom even amidst economic hardship. For translation and localization of general documents and for business expansion in Korea and abroad in the second half of the year, Alconost will be there to help you.
